Course Description
This course is designed to prepare students for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT). It covers major topics and knowledge domains required for both exams, providing comprehensive review and practice to ensure students are well-prepared for certification. The course focuses on key areas such as pharmacology, federal and state regulations, patient safety, order entry and processing, and professional development. Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the PTCB or ExCPT and embark on a successful career as certified pharmacy technician.
